This icon wine got its name from the Teutonic word meaning ‘nobility’, Idelia captures the top notes of red cultivars in a truly exceptional blend. It represents the fullness of the fruit and the power of masterly blending. The result of 60 years of Swartland’s wine making experience, Idelia is a limited-release wine.

The final product is the result of the highest-quality wines, blended together, each contributing its own character to capture the essence of nobility.

Idelia is a soft, multi-dimensional wine with layers of fruit, berries, coffee and vanilla flavours. It is evocative of all that is ripe, yet with an underlying softness. Well-integrated oak complements the palate. This wine also has a lingering aftertaste and well-balanced tannin structure.
